Renewing Multiple Certifications

If you have earned multiple CompTIA certifications, the CompTIA Continuing Education (CE) program enables you to keep all of your ISO/ANSI approved certifications current by renewing only your highest-level CE certification.

Certified professional can earn CEUs towards renewing their certification by passing a CompTIA exam.

Renewal intent level

If your intention is to keep all of your CE certifications current, you will need to select your highest level certification as your “intent level.” You will be prompted to select your intent level when paying CE fees and/or submitting CEUs when logged in to your certification account. In the example above, you would select Security+ as your intent level if you want to renew both Security+ and A+.

Please note: It’s important to be aware of your certification expiration dates. If your lower-level certification expires first, then you’ll need to complete the renewal requirements by the earliest expiration date.
